3500/33-PWA149986-01 16-Channel Relay Module is a 16 relay output and is a full-height module used for machinery condition monitoring system. In any of the slots to the right of the Transient Data Interface (TDI) Module, you can place any number of 16-channel relay modules. The 16-Channel Relay Module's outputs can be individually programmed to perform voting logic. Alarm Drive Logic is included in each relay of the module. The Alarm Drive Logic is programmed using AND and OR logic and may include the following:

• Inputs that cause alarm (alert and danger statuses)
• Not-so-good
• Individually measured variables from any monitor channel in the rack, or any combination of monitor channels

3500/33-PWA149986-01 Ordering Considerations

• The 3500 Rack Config, version 3.3 or later, is required for the 16-Channel Relay Module.
• The 3500 Data Acquisition Software, version 2.40 or later, is required for the 16-Channel Relay Module.
• The 3500 Data Display Software, version 1.40 or later, is required for the 16-Channel Relay Module.
• If the 16-Channel Relay Module is part of functional safety (SIL) system, the restricted voltage is required by the functional safety certificate. For functional safety (SIL) systems, higher voltages are not permitted.
